Bio
Tani Hanes
Tani Hanes was a romance author whose stories centered big feeling, humor, family, music, resilience, and the messy, hopeful work of finding love. Across standalones, duets, and sweeping series, she wrote heroines and heroes who were allowed to be complicated, vulnerable, funny, wounded, stubborn, and deeply loved.
Her books range from the boyband world of U.K. Crush to the family warmth of Growing Flowers, the plus-size rock star romance of the Cake series, the New York Nanny and Sexy Swimmers duets, and standalone romances including Farraway Mist, Finding His Touch, Rock & Roses, and more. She also wrote Obachan, a historical family memoir set in twentieth-century Japan.
Tani passed away in March 2025. Her legacy lives on through the stories she left behind: tender, emotional, often funny romances about people choosing love, courage, and connection even when life is difficult.
